Warehouse Remodel & Office Renovation in Plano, Texas

Squarefoot Construction recently completed a warehouse remodel and office renovation project in Plano, Texas, focused on improving operational efficiency, employee workspace functionality, and temperature-controlled product storage. This renovation modernized both the warehouse and office areas while enhancing overall facility performance.

The project included the installation of a new commercial gas line system and associated piping infrastructure to support specialized equipment within the facility. To improve visibility and workflow between work areas, our team also constructed a new interior viewing window between adjacent rooms, allowing staff to monitor operations without disrupting daily activities.

A major component of the project involved warehouse HVAC modifications designed to improve airflow and maintain cooler temperatures throughout the facility. New ductwork access and air distribution improvements were completed to help create a more consistent environment for temperature-sensitive products stored within the warehouse. These upgrades improved warehouse cooling performance while supporting product preservation and employee comfort.

The office renovation included new flooring, interior painting, updated finishes, and workspace improvements throughout the facility. To maximize the use of existing square footage, the original conference room was divided into two private offices, creating additional workspace and improving office functionality without expanding the building footprint.

Additional improvements included the installation of motorized window blinds operated by wall-mounted switches, providing enhanced privacy, convenience, and light control within the office spaces. Hallway lighting was upgraded with new high-efficiency fixtures to improve visibility and create a brighter work environment.

Within the laboratory area, existing flooring was removed and replaced with a durable lab safety epoxy flooring system. The new epoxy flooring provides a seamless, chemical-resistant surface designed to improve safety, durability, and long-term maintenance while supporting daily laboratory operations.
